Christian Books for Girls
Christian Books for Girls
In a day when modesty, chastity and godliness
are not qualities found in many women, it's important we train our girls
to be women of virtue. The books listed on Grace and Truth Books are
carefully chosen because of the Christian character and godly values
expressed in them.

Broward County Florida Humane Society Educational Programs
Many organizations have collaborated with the Boy and Girl Scouts of America, but we have been reaching out to such organizations to collaborate with American Heritage Girls in our area.
Broward County Humane Society has WONDERFUL programs to work with children on SERVICE and the PET CARE badge. (See below)
I will post their items. We are trying to collaborate with shelters and clinics in our area to bring such programs here. Take a look and see if you can get such educational programs implemented in your area to work with your American Heritage Girls.
Please comment if you have a group who has created educational programs for Girl Scouts that you have worked with them to adapt for American Heritage girls troops. It would benefit us all if we could teach organizations about our AHG program, Service opportunities, and badges so that our girls can have the same opportunities as the other scouting groups.
Kids & Teens
Whether you’re 6 or 60, children and adults both agree that having a party at the Humane Society of Broward County is a tail-waggin’ good time! Click to learn more.

Students & Teachers

Students & Teachers
An exclusive partnership with the Broward County Libraries
and the School Board of Broward County, the Wags &
Tales program provides a non-judgmental audience for students experiencing
difficulty with reading. Participants learn how to be safe around animals as
well as what a loving friend, a dog, can be as they improve their reading
skills.
The success of the Humane Society of Broward County Wags
& Tales program has led to the creation of a new program at the shelter
called Purrs & Tales. In the Purrs & Tales program children
will have a chance to come to the shelter and read to our adoptable cats.
